How Shear Madness Got Her Name – The Wedding
Bradley and Kathy were married on Sunday, August 29,1999 at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC at a performance of the long running murder mystery Shear Madness. We bought all 399 seats and invited many friends and family. We had small roles in the play – Kathy as a hooker and Bradley as a cop. After the play was over, we were married on stage (after a change of clothes!). So what else could we name the boat but Shear Madness!
The wedding weekend festivities included a rehearsal dinner on Friday night, a crab feast and cross country run on Saturday, and the performance of Shear Madness, the wedding ceremony and reception on Sunday.
The photos below show the bride and groom in their Shear Madness costumes and the wedding ceremony held onstage after the conclusion of the play .
